Standard Support for IFP version 2 is scheduled to stop on November 30th 2011. This is to reconfirm the notifications that have been sent out since November 2010 and throughout 2011.
What if I am unable to upgrade to IFP 3 in time?
Clearly, we will not abandon IFP2 users if it is impossible to upgrade to IFP3 by end November. However, it is difficult to continue supporting two very different versions of IFP for much longer, so we do hope that you will be able to proceed with the upgrade as soon as possible.
What happens after November 30th?
IFP2 support moves into the "Extended Support" stage, meaning that we will provide support where absolutely necessary. You will be encouraged to upgrade as soon as possible. No software upgrades or bug fixes will be available for IFP2.
How do we upgrade to IFP 3?
To reconfirm, we can upgrade IFP2 databases to IFP3 in a matter of days, so there is no constraint at our end re the upgrade process. To begin this process, please submit a request.
What about IFP2000?
IFP2000 is the same as IFP2!
