Database Backup AutoTask

Overview

The Database Backup AutoTask allows you to create a backup in a database using a few clicks.

It is important to take regular database backups, especially when running MultiTasks that make significant changes to the database. It is recommended that you include a Database Backup AutoTask as the first task in a MultiTask.

Create the AutoTask

To create the database backup AutoTask:

1. From IFP Home select Databases/Files > Create Database Backup
2. Enter relevant notes for the backup
3. Select Save As AutoTask...

Run the AutoTask

When you run the AutoTask, IFP will create a backup of the selected Database including notes, without requiring further interaction.
