Overview
This AutoTask allows you to build an IFP Project, to include all updated data in dashboards, reports and graphs.
This AutoTask is often used as the last task in a MultiTask, i.e. after all importing tasks have completed. This project output can then be shown to those who require it, such as managers and financial planners.
A MultiTask might include several Project AutoTasks, each one building output for a separate Project.
Create the AutoTask
As with all AutoTasks, you first need to check that the process runs manually - see How to Create a Project and How to Build Project Output. Once you have done this:
- Select the required project in Project Manager.
- From the toolbar select Tools > Create AutoTask, saving in a Public File.
Run the AutoTask
When you run the AutoTask, IFP will build the Project output using all of the options previously selected, without requiring further interaction.
See How to Run AutoTasks for the different ways that you can run AutoTasks in IFP.
