Simple Text Lines in Report Definitions

Overview

This line type in the Report Definition Editor contains no data, but is a means of inserting text lines such as sub-headings into a report.

Formatting

It is important to format this line correctly, so the layout is exactly as you require:

You can create multi-line text output using this line type by pressing enter to start a new line.
A blank text line can also be created to split the heading from the beginning of the information itself.

Example

You need to insert a sub-heading before a section of analysis. To do this, insert a simple text line and then a blank simple text line before the required part of the Report Definition.
