See the Security Features article for more information on Organisational Units. A typical hierarchy might look like this:
To create a new Organisational Unit (OU):
- From IFP Home select Databases / Files > Database Manager.
- Under Security, right-click the existing OU you want to create the new one under.
- Select New > Organisational Unit.
- Give the Organisational Unit a sensible Name and Description e.g. Australia Administrators
- If appropriate, select or create a Group Policy to use with this OU.
- On the Database Access tab select the relevant Databases e.g. Australia P&L and Australia Sales
- Click OK to save changes.
