Scenario
When I start IFP, I see "1 System Warning(s)" in the status bar on IFP Home. Click the link for more details on the System Warning(s).
Cause
When you start IFP or select a database, it performs various checks, including for the existence of certain folders. You can usually continue to work in IFP, but may find some features are unavailable (My Files, Favourite Reports etc.).
Common Warnings
Checking System Folders - Directory not found.
Cause
If the message shows a path such as "C:\Users\[username]\Documents\IFP", this means that the user's personal files folder was not found. IFP will attempt to create it while the database is being used. This is a known issue when running under certain Citrix configurations. These files are saved in the Windows User Profile, but unfortunately Citrix is clearing this User Profile when you log off.
Solution
Implement the solution in Files created under "My Files" disappear on next IFP login. Once you change that setting, when you next login to IFP, you will not see a System Warning.
