You may specify additional inclusion criteria based on the values of classification variables in the database.
Logic Combinations
- ‘And’ requires both the current combination and previous combinations to be true.
- ‘Or’ requires either the current combination or previous combinations to be true.
As the Logic on the current combination relates to the previous combination, the Logic selected for the first combination does not matter.
Variable
Any existing classification variable in the database may be selected from the drop-down list.
Condition
Select an option from the drop-down list in the Condition column.

Enter a value for the classification variable or select from a list by clicking the List button (...). Use ? as wildcards.
For more information on the other Item Selection tabs, see Item Selection Using Item Tables and Item Selection Using Item Codes.
Example
The rules added above equate to items with the following classification variable values being selected. In the example above, items with a BPC Line of 044 or 046 and also with an Account Group of 08 will be selected. E.g.
- Items with a BPC Line 044 and Account Group 08
- Items with a BPC Line 046 and Account Group 08
It is important to note that the Logic connects the current combination and the previous combination/s in the list.
