Audit Log Search Options
There are several ways in which you can locate and copy the specific audit data that you need.
Page Selection
All types of audit logs are separated into pages of 200 entries. You can navigate between these pages by using the arrows in the top right-hand corner of any audit logs window:
In this area, you can also see which range of the audit log entries you are currently viewing, as well as the total number of log entries available.
Filter
There are many options you can choose from in order to filter the number of audit log entries shown. This helps you to find relevant entries much faster.
To open the Filter window select the button above each of the Audit Log views:
Here you can click the relevant option (or options, using the Ctrl key and selecting multiple options) from the category you need to filter by. You can also enter key terms in either of the two search boxes (e.g. you can use the Audited Item field to search for the name of a specific Package or AutoTask that has been removed or edited).
Export
It is possible to export Audit log entries to an Excel file.
- You can export all audit log entries by simply clicking the Export button above any of the audit log views and choosing Export All Events.
- If you need to export just the logs that you can see on a specific page click Export > Export Current Page.
If you need to just export a few specific audit log entries you can select these by clicking on them (using the Ctrl key to select multiple entries), and then click Export > Export Selected Events.
